A data-flow architecture, defined before it becomes irreversible.
At a mobility manufacturer, a connected data structure across product, production, and after-sales was missing before start of production. XOR designed the architecture that structures this data flow before it turns into a permanent manual problem.
Starting point
Production and engineering data existed, but without a connected structure. The bill of materials was maintained by a single person in Excel, manufacturing was outsourced, a structured after-sales bill of materials was missing, and there was no end-to-end traceability across the product lifecycle. Before start of production is the best time to define these data flows; after it, after-sales inherits a heavy manual burden.
What XOR designed and delivered
The digital data-flow architecture XYTE Core: a scalable data strategy connecting the order system, engineering bill of materials, manufacturing, and after-sales into one continuous data flow, traceable down to VIN level. Developed in structured workshops, aligned through an interim presentation, and delivered as a final architecture with recommendations in editable formats.
A solid foundation to keep data traceable across the entire product lifecycle, defined before start of production rather than retrofitted at high cost.
